
Not at all. Most whites will stay tasty in the fridge for up to three days and reds for up to four or five. With a minimum group of four people, that should result in very little going to waste.
Unfortunately, Washington state law would define that as a retail sale, and I would need a separate (and expensive!) licence to do so. There are also a lot of regulations surrounding the ownership of such a licence that make it unworkable. Don't worry though - the wines I pick are widely available and easily substituted.
There is a minimum cost of $80 if there is less than four people joining in.
For in person tastings, I recommend no more than about 18-20 for private tastings, but am happy to discuss more than this.
For online classes, I have a maximum of 150.
For corporate events, it depends on the nature of the tasting. Please contact me for more information.
Although it isn't our policy to make you spit, we at VitVen advocate for drinking sensibly. Pouring smaller tasting measures, drinking plenty of water, and eating beforehand are all great ways of making it to the end of the lesson and ensuring you are able to appreciate each wine.
It used to be that there weren't many options for those that don't drink outside of sparkling cider. Thankfully, that situation has changed. There are now a whole host of de-alcoholized wines out there, including sparking and grape specific. Please contact me and we can discuss it further.
