Wondering what all the fuss is about or just want to be able to choose wine with more confidence? This is the class for you. An entry level class that assumes little to no prior knowledge, it's designed to give you a grounding in the six most common grape varieties and the styles they produce. We taste classic examples of each and discuss what makes them so popular. We delve into how to evaluate a wine, and talk about the basics of the production process and what influence this has on the finished product. Finally, we discuss how to serve a wine, covering such things as the importance of temperature and decanting. Perfect for large groups of mixed experience or smaller groups of the curious. Whats Included? - Your own personal wine presenter. - Up to two hours personal tasting at the location of your choosing, up to an hours drive from Seattle. - Tasting notes, maps, and other materials to enhance your experience. I do not supply wine for the classes but will provide you with a list of appropriate wines for the class for you to purchase. This allows you to tailor your purchases to your own budget and local availability.

Cancellation Policy

Please contact us at least 48 hours in advance to cancel your booking and receive a 100% refund, minus a processing fee of 20% of the booking total. We are happy to discuss rescheduling as an alternative. Less than 48 hours notice will be offered the opportunity to reschedule or a 25% refund. Less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full amount.
